Discover the pandas
Probably no other animal enjoys as much sympathy worldwide as the cuddly-looking, cozy panda. No wonder he was chosen as a symbol for nature and species protection, because who could resist his friendly expression?
There is also a lot of interesting and exciting things to report about these fascinating bears: for example, about their very special food preferences, about the caring rearing of the initially tiny young animals or about why these peaceful animals do handstands on trees in nature.
In this new volume of the “Discover Series”, curious children learn everything about the beautiful pandas - from amazing facts about their lifestyle to their threats and also their protection. The young readers are accompanied on their journey by the clever comic owl Xabi, who explains even complicated connections in a child's play. And in the big panda quiz at the end, the kids can have fun proving that they have now become real panda experts!
