The giant pandas at Schönbrunn Zoo have been delighting visitors since 2003. This picture book tells their story: from the first negotiations with China to the arrival of the panda pair, Yang Yang and Long Hui, through to their twins Fu Feng and Fu Ban. Photographer Daniel Zupanc even travelled to China to take current photographs of the pandas Fu Long, Fu Hu and Fu Bao, who were born at Schönbrunn.
Zoo Director Dagmar Schratter, her predecessor Helmut Pechlaner, former Federal Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel, radio reporter Georg Urbanitsch and many others tell personal experiences, amusing anecdotes and shed light on fascinating issues concerning this endangered species.
